The guys tear up Park Street Saloon

Here's a great review by Larry Ritter of the guys' performance at Park Street Saloon in support of Texas Hippie Coalition .

Another hometown favorite, 8lb Pressure, a band that I have heard on multiple occasions followed Lunadin and continued to increase the intensity as they welcomed back former guitarist, Mike Grund, who had left the band to move to Florida. This was Grund’s first show after returning and it was as if he had never left. His riffs and backup work was spot on and his enthusiasm to be back in the Columbus music scene was evident on his face the entire set.

Brandon Sin was entertaining as always and once again impressed with his wide range of vocals. Brian Kuhn, the new drummer, was spectacular and extremely animated as a drummer should be (in my opinion anyway) with Doug Stamper (guitar) and Rob Mutchler (bass & backup vocals) doing an amazing job at their respective crafts. The collaboration of these five men gives this fan favorite a chance of doing work beyond the state’s reaches and beyond.

"8lb Pressure, a band I have seen on several occasions, didn’t let me down as they ripped through their time slot with the full force that I have become accustom to seeing and hearing from them. Brandon Sin’s strong vocals led the way while the heavy riffs ripped through the early evening like a hot knife through butter. Look for the band to be playing this weekend as one of the headliners at Rock the Ranch in Pataskala, Ohio."
